Word 2003 Document Corruption

B

Brian Hoyt

I have a user that keeps having document corruption. He is able to work on
the document for an extended period. Then at some point when opening it all
the tables get corrupted. I am attaching a sample that is before and after
corruption. I cannot determine what the cause is or how to prevent it. Any
suggestions greatly appreciated. I tried to attach the files but they are
too large for the news server. I can send them to someone if they want to
look at them.

Corruptions whilst editing are usually due to saving to a Removable Media
(floppy, pen drive or CD-R, etc) instead of the local HDD, having FastSaves
enabled under Tools, Options, Save tab or by a corrupt printer driver.
