Word 2003 Document opens on one computer, not another.

Hi,

I have the Student/Teacher Edition of Office 2003
installed on my desktop and laptop at home. I have a
document that will open perfectly fine on my desktop in
Word 2003, but will not open on my laptop in Word 2003.

I just get "Word experienced an error trying to open this
file."

The files are identical. Just to be sure, I tried
recopying the file, and the result is still the same.

The only difference I can think of is that I may have
installed the latest Office 2003 patch on the laptop and
not the desktop, but I am not sure of this.

What can I do to correct this problem?

Are you trying to open the file from a floppy?
