Hi,
I recently set up a Ricoh Aticio MP C2500 printer on our network. The
printer is recognized by every program except Word 2003. I've installed both
the PCL 6 and PCL 5c drivers, and installed other network printers that
worked fine.
Word starts up fine. When I go to print from the Ricoh Printer, I receive
the following message:
"The printer has not yet responded, but the Microsoft Office program may be
able to proceed without the printer information. Do you want to continue to
wait for the printer."
The printer does show up in the drop down box so Word can see it. Excel,
Outlook, Publisher, I.E. all recognize the printer and print fine.
I've tried all the suggestions I could find in the newsgroups but none
worked. I've updated Windows and Office. I am looking for any other ideas.
