Word 2003: Double-Click on .doc doesn't work

Hi, I have a problem with Word2003 suddently. From windows explorer, when
double-clicking on a .doc or right-clicking+open/edit on a doc, Word opens
but it doesn't open the document, neither displays an error. It just starts
with no open documents at all (even without a blank).

I've tried opening documents from within word and it loads them correctly. I
tried repairing (with sortcuts repairing)and then uninstalling complete
office+installing again+installing SP2 but still the same. No other office
application has such problem, only word. Seems like some registry/doc
assosiation problem.

Any thoughts?

Thank you.

I have tried that, using command "winword /r" but nothing. I even tried
deleting registry strings for .doc and shell for Winword.8. Then with
wordpad they open correctly but when the "winword /r" command re-creates
them, still the word opens but no document inside it.
