Word 2003 Envelope Printing

We have a Windows 2000 SP4 machine running Office XP Pro hooked to a network HP Laserjet 2300L. Every time we try to print a #10 envelope (manual feed, tray one) it feeds the first one through and doesn't print it. Then it asks for another envelope and it will print the second one. It did this last month and I switched from the PCL to the Post Script driver and it worked fine for a month and now here we are again. I may be able to switch the driver back again to PCL and it will work for a little while longer, but I would like more of a long term solution. Any ideas?
