Word 2003 Envelopes and Labels

B

Bob Penoyer

When I select Tools > Letters and Mailings > Envelopes and Labels

then click on the Insert Address icon, I get this warning:

"Address Book failure: 'Unspecified error'. Check your Mail setup. You
must have Extended MAPI version 1.0 or higher to use this feature."

All I want to do is address and print individual envelopes from Word.
How can I do this?

Thanks for your reply.

I have about a half-dozen contacts listed in Outlook 2003. Is there a
way to have Word know that those contacts exist, and to make Word use
those contacts to address envelopes?

You may get a more knowledgeable answer from an Outlook NG. The people there
know more about using Outlook with Word.

Under Internet Options, Programs tab in the Control Panel is Microsoft
Office Outlook set as the default Email program?
