When I write a simple equation, just using fractions, I tend to insert a
field and then type eq \f(a,b) to get the fraction. In the past, I used to be
able to double click on this, and it would open up in the Equation Editor and
I'd be able to add more complicated bits. However, now, when I click on it
the Equation Editor opens, but I get the error "Word equation too large to
convert" (even for a simple fraction), and it gives me an empty equation. If
I close the Equation Editor, my original fraction is gone, and I have to undo
to get it back. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why the Equation
Editor might have stopped working the way it did before?
Thanks,
Jonathan
