Word 2003 error

I need help. I am not an IT professional. I am a very
frustrated medical transcriptionist. I am using Word 2003
on a computer purchased from Dell (purchased last month)
and have already spent an hour on the phone with them
since I am supposed to get support from them. After
speaking with three different techs and getting the same
answer, it was suggested that I contact Microsoft. Here
is the issue: I have a template provided to me by the
service that I work for and this was created in Word 97.
There is a logo in the header. When I use this template
in Word 2003 and try to save the document, I get
error "There is not enough memory or disk space to
display or print the picture." I can save the document
even with this error. The problem is that I use a third
party counting software (Sylcount by Sylvan Software)
that must interface with Word, open each document, count
it, and then close it. I cannot count more than one
document with this logo because the error message comes
up when the Sylcount tries to save the document and the
Sylcount stops dead. I need help.

Yes, I copied and pasted the individual elements of the
logo (there are four of them) as well as the header into
a Word 2003 document and still get the same error message.

Did you install the patch from http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate?

I don't know if there's any effect, but it's worth a shot.
