When I am using Microsoft Word 2003 and saving my document
periodically, after 15-20 minutes the name in the blue bar changes to
it's temp name (~$filename), and it won't let me save it. Furthermore,
the original file disappears and is replaced by the temp name in
Windows Explorer. When I try to open the file in recent documents it
can't be found, and when I click on the temp file it can't be openend.
The only way around it is to copy the text, open a new document and
paste it in, delete the temp file, and re-save it. It won't let me
save the file as ANY name after it changes to its temp name.
Is there some way to fix this, or do I need to repair/re-install
Office?
Thanks for the help guys!
