Word 2003 footer issue

Wes Newman

I am unable to get the header/footer menu to display.
When using Word 2002, I was able to get a menu to appear
which allowed me to select the font, size, time, date etc.

In Word 2003, I get this frustrating menu has bullets,
paragraph, hyperlink, etc. What hapened to the menu I
always got with Word 2002?

Thx

Hi Wes,

If you use View=>Header/Footer you should
get basically the same toolbar in Word 2003
that you had in Word 2002 as long as you're
not in Reading Layout view.

Like other Word toolbars it can float or be 'docked'
Look for a big 'Autotext' button on the toolbars to
see if the header/footer toolbar has 'nested'.
