Word 2003 - Grammar Check without Office Assistant?

Is it possible to have MSW-2003 perform a grammatical check on a
document and not bring up the Office Assistant on clicking the
"Explain" button? I would prefer a simple text box with the details
without the cartoon. The Spelling Checker behaves this way but the
Grammar Checker does not.
