first here is my setup :
im using LogmeIn a web interface using java to connect like VNC to
another computer.
the computer with the problem is in a remote session on a server having
CITRIX Metaframe installed
My test were performed under my computer using the VNC like program and
under other citrix session that use the exact same word exact same
rights on the remote connection.
Ok here's the problem:
I first had take a print screen with the computer i am Vnc to it, paste
it in outlook 2003. it was a big white square no color at all. I check
everything and it's not a format issue, paint showing it fine. So i
unchecked the setting that says don't allow the image or something like
that. Still didn't work. I remove use word 2003 as editor, and bang it
work, so the problem looked like affecting word. I tried with Word
directly, what a surprised it didn't work, so to be sure i tested paste
in Excel but there it worked fine. I tried play with the View settings
under the Tools/Options/Views no result, tried with all page view mode
with no result either, i used my own computer and it worked perfectly
(it have office 2003 too).
Info : with all those try and error i still have the same print screen
in my clipboard i haven't rebooted or change anything to the clipboard.
I'm still currently trying to find out, i even check all the macro /
internet security / view options checked with both computer and they
are at this moment the exact same one work the other don't, it only
affect Word on the computer im Vnc to it, only the version is
different, and event there the word that have problem is running under
citrix and i tried on another computer that is remoting to the same
citrix server too and it's working.
So due that both computer I'm connecting to them use remote to the
server and the server use citrix that mean they use the same same word
(instances in that case), so it have to be an option i didn't suspected
i could be any ideas ???
oh i just tried copying the normal.dot from the one that work and
replace the one that didn't worked and still doesn't solve the problem.
it was my last hope i was sure it was going to work.
