Word 2003 hangs on 2nd document

Work on directory. Open Word document by double-clicking on the name.
minimize document. Double-click on 2nd Word document. Word freezes (flashing
lights etc.) Have to use task manager to kill. Any Help please

If you are using Norton Anti Virus, disable the Office Plug-in option.
