Word 2003, how to delete last blank page from file

In a file I am creating, the last page is blank and I want to delete it from
the file.

In later versions of Word, I am able to put the cursor on the blank page and
just hit the delete button. Sometimes, I will have to do it repeatedly
before the blank page is deleted from the file. That is just not happening
this time. What do I do?

Second question: How do I remove a text box in Word 2003 while keeping the
inside text?
