Dear Microsoft,
I have a suggestion for the next version of Word.
I noticed one change between Word 2000 and Word 2003 that I find not so
convenient.
It’s about the Mail Merge.
When I have to add one “fieldâ€, in the version 2003 I click on the “Insert
Merge Fields†button (in the Mail Merge Toolbar) and every time I have to add
one field in another position, I have close the Insert Merge Fields window,
move the mouse in the position where I want to place the Merge Field, click
again on the “Insert Merge Fields†button, and so on…
It’s not convenient!
The prevision version (2000) gave the possibility to place the cursor in
another position and insert the field without closing the Insert Merge Fields
window.
