Word 2003: New Problems in resizing and moving?

Something went wrong with my Word 2003. The Maximize/Restore Down button on
the title bar is behaving in a weird manner. If I double click on the title
bar, the file is being put in full screen, but when I try to restore down, so
I can move it, the entire file is collapsing into the title bar and tghe
only thing I can see now is a blue rectangular title bar (about 5"X0.25")
with the minimize, maximize, and close buttons. Now the only way of seeing
the text is to use the maximize button where I cannot resize the window
again, nor move the around. Also, I find that although the margins are all
set to normal, the right hand margin is not working at all, and text is
flowing well beyond the righthand limit (indicated by a triangular
knob-like object) on the ruler.

First I thought this is a problem unique to this file, but to my dismay the
whole word program is behaving this way, no matter which existing document I
open or whether I create a new document. I have Office 2003 on another
computer, but I cannot duplicate the problem there. Can someone help?
