Word 2003 opening an attachment

Getting this message when opening an email word attachment\

the server application, source file, or item cannot be found. Make sure the
application is properly installed, and that it has not been deleted, moved,
or renamed

I have reloaded and still same problem, renamed users profile and then it
was working for awhile and now same error is popping up with a different
email attachment
