Right-click any toolbar in Word. Do you see a toolbar listed for PDFMaker
(that's what it's called in version 7--don't remember whether it was the
same name in version 6)?

In Acrobat 6 it's called "PDFMaker 6.0."

Do you see PDFMaker.dot listed in Tools | Templates and Add-ins? If so,
check it. To make it load at startup, copy/move it to the Word or Office
Startup folder.

I use PDF 6.0 and found that since I also use Word (2002) as my e-mail editor
in Outlook 2002, that I need to open Word first before starting Outlook in
order to get the PDFMaker buttons to appear. Sometimes if I uncheck any
other templates that are loaded in Word this also allows the PDFMaker buttons
to appear.

Dear Suzanne,

I'm having the same problem except I'm using Acrobat 4 with Office 2003. I
do not see anything listed in the Tools | Templates and Add-ins. Excel and
Powerpoint can interact with Acrobat but Word cannot.

Thanks for your help.

I am having the same problem with Word 2003. None of the suggestions have
helped. Did you ever solve this one Paj?
