Word 2003 picture dissapears when scrolling down

Chris

Hi Please help me as i have checked so many forums and cannot get a solution
for this.

I have Office 2003 on an XP pc that has a problem with graphic (picture)
files, specifically in Word 2003. Even in saved Word files or inserting a
graphic file, when I scroll down the picture dissapears altogether, not even
a border is shown. I have gone into Options->View->and the checkboxes are
correctly checked and unchecked as supposed to be. I have done a detect and
repair and still the same result. I can only see the picture in 'print
preview' then when go to normal view I can see it then when i scroll down a
bit it dissapears again!

Please help!

Try reducing or turning off the hardware acceleration setting in
Start | Control Panel | Display | Settings | Advanced |
Troubleshooting. If this fixes the problem, then you might want
to check the website of the manufacturer of your video
card/graphics adapter to see if there is an updated driver available.
