WORD 2003 prints a .JPG file in QUADRIPLICATE TO COLOR PRINTER

From Insert/Picture from File in WORD 2003 doc, the .JPG file prints in
DUPLICATE and QUADRIPLICATE to HP COLOR printers. The .JPG file in WORD 2003
will print ONE TIME to a BLACK AND WHITE printer. How can I print Word 2003
..jpg files correctly (one time) to a color printer?

In Word, try turning off background printing in Tools | Options |
Print. In Windows, try turning off printing spooling and/or
advanced text services in Start | Control Panel | Printers |
<right-click on your printer> | Properties.

Open the printer properties (not the Word print dialog) and set the number
of copies back to one.

This is not a question of pages, Jezebel, but of "stripes." In this bizarre
bug, each JPG is repeated two to six or more times within the space
allocated to a single picture, full width but squashed vertically. I
experience it with the HP Deskjet 6122, and it is beyond annoying. The only
workaround that works for me is to disable print spooling.
