Word 2003 Shuts down When Trying to Print

I am running Office 2003 on a Win XP Pro Box. When in WORD I can create a
document, but when I go to print, if I select a network printer and then hit
the properties button, Word shuts down and I lose the document. I have
reloaded the drivers for the printer, but it did not clear up the problem. If
I try to print to my local printer I don't have any problems. Any thoughts?
