Word 2003 slow with document made in word 97

Microsoft word 2003 is slow on 1 desktop in the office. All desktops
are installed on the same way.
The slow word 2003 is only on 1 desktop, and is always with old word 97
documents.
Can someone help me with this problem, it is much appreciated.
