Word 2003 SP3 and text boxes

Hi

I have an .rtf file created in Word 95!, the file contains a large number of
text boxes where the text box is not actually show (Just the data within the
box). Up untill Word 2003 SP3 these have opened with no problem, however
since installing SP3 when I open the files all the text boxes now have an
outline. I can remove these outlines using Formatautoshape,line,color however
I have 100+ .rtf files and each one contains 10-20 text boxes.

Does anyone know a way round this?

I am having the same issue with a third party program we use. The program
only creates RTF files and when opened in Office 2003 SP3 the lines appear.
Have you gotten any responses?

The only solution I have so far is de-installing SP3; in SP2 it works fine..
Seems up to Microsoft to correct this 'patch'
