After updating a user to SP3 his Word 2003 is constantly crashing upon
starting it up.
It crashes and asks to go into Safe Mode, if you do not go into Safe Mode it
will crash again and continue this "crashing loop". I can get into Safe
Mode, but next time I start Word it just crashes again.
The things I've tried to solve this to no avail: Windows updates / Office
Repair / Reinstall of Word
I've tried deleting "normal.dot" from the templates. When I do this I am
able to get into Word for the first time. The next time I load it up it
keeps crashing again. So I have to delete normal.dot everytime, not a user
friendly solution. Trying "winword.exe /a" in Run works. Seems like
normal.dot is being curropted everytime. Hmm, any ideas?
