Word 2003 - spell checker

somehow my spell checker dictionary keeps changing to french and keeps auto
correcting my documents into french. This has just started this week and is
getting more and more annoying. I have tried changing the default language
back to english but it auto changes back every time i hit accept. It's like
i have a virus or something. Please help.
