I have a document that has a table of about 40 rows by 6 columns. I'm
selecting all the items in column 1 and want to remove the numbering that is
in there. This numbering was done using bullets. I click on the button to
reset the numbered bullets, and word goes into a loop using 50 - 90% CPU.
I've done the same thing selecting about 28 rows, and it can do it. Select
29 and it fails.
I opened the same file in Word '97 and did the same action. No problems at
all. Word '97 was able to make the changes and save the file back for me.
That solves my immediate problem, but not the long term one.
Any ideas what could be causing this problem? I've tested it out on
multiple machines with the same effect.
Thanks in advance.
