Word 2003 template problems

We have 54 laptops with XP Pro and Office 2003 Pro. All seems to be
well and the users are happy.

One of the users is having some template problems. We have some
templates that were created and loaded on each PC. If she opens the
template directly everything is fine. If she opens it up from the
network template directory then the background of the document is tan.
If she prints to a color printer, the document prints tan. Others
users aren't having this problem.

Any ideas? She is located 2 hours from me and I'm trying to think of a
solution before I spend 2 hours in the car.

TIA,

The only way that a background prints in Word is if it is in HTML. My wild
guess is the user is opening from the Network and editing in HTML mode -
though where the background came from is a mystery!

But, no: that is no longer true! In Word 2003, there's a new option under
Tools, Options, Print Tab to allow printing of Background images and
colours.

When you get the bottom of this, please let us know!
