Word 2003 thesaurus

Somehow my thesaurus is not installed or became uninstalled. How do I
reinstall it?

Go to the Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, select Office 2003 and choose
Change. This will run setup and let you select the Thesaurus from Advanced
Option.

Tried it -- got error: "can't find c:\msocache\all users\90000...\PR103374.CAB"

I did a search & couldn't find this file, either. What is it, where can I
get it?

My guess is that you have an OEM version of Office that came preinstalled on
your PC. If that is correct, the solution is to Uninstall Office 2003 and
reinstall it from your CD.

Microsoft's thesaurus is useless so I see no reason to try to get it
installed. Please, Microsoft, look up the word 'stanch' in a real
dictionary. It is a verb, not an adjective.
