Word 2003 TOA Mark Citation should stop at word "section"

B

Betty Barth

When clicking on "Next" in Mark Citation (for Table of Authorities) the
feature stops at v., vs., Id, in re, §, et seq, etc. However, it does not
stop at the word section. Many attorneys spell out the word section and do
not use the section symbol ( § ). Also, if an attorney cites a statute that
is fewer than four or five characters, it does not recognize it. An example
is C.C.P. Section 437c. this citation, which is frequently used in the State
of California, is not recognized by the Mark Citation feature in Word 2003.

It is my desire that the program be changed to either include the word
"section" (which would fall under the Statutes category of TOA), or allow the
end user to edit what Mark Citation looks for similar to how you allow the
end user to edit the Categories feature.
