Word 2003 w/embeded Excel worksheet causes Access 2000 Runtime to

Running XPPro SP1, OfficeSB 2003. Trying to Insert->Object->Excel Worksheet

The process starts, however almost immediatly Access Runtime 2000 tries to
load. Cancelling through several screens eventually allows the Excel
worksheet to be embedded. However, toggling to another app and then back to
Word causes the Access Runtime to again attempt to load.

Please don't say "Load the Access Runtime". That's probably not the answer
based on this
