The error message “a WWW browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, is
required to use this feature†appears whenever I try to perform a Web Page
Preview from the File menu. I have even opened Internet Explorer first and
it still doesn’t know it is available. BTW, Macros are enabled. I am also
running Word 2003 on an older PC, using XP Home, and there is no problem. In
fact, it automatically opens and previews my web document on both my Maxthon
and IE browsers, and only one is a default browser (which is another problem
for another post). The problem that I am having when getting the error
message is with a brand new PC that is running XP Professional. I tried to
find a box to click under Tools, Options, Web Options, but haven’t found any
way to let Word 2003 know that I have a browser ready for the preview. Where
else can I look? Any ideas would be appreciated.
