Word 2003 Won't Open

I recently purchased a new laptop running Vista Home Premium. My first copy
of Vista. I installed a copy of Office 2003 which is Vista approved and it
ran just fine until a configured my Outlook profile. Since then Word crashes
when I try to open it. It gives me a message that I can open it in Safe Mode
and it that mode it runs OK. I originally set up Word as my email editor in
Outlook but I have since changed that. All other Office apps run just fine
including Outlook. I have run Repair several times with no good result. I
also had Acrobat 8 installed which I have since uninstalled just in case. Any
ideas folks?

Thanks for all the suggestions. The printer driver was fine and working on
the other MS Office programs. I ran detect & Repair and reloaded the software
with no good result. I finally did a full uninstall and then reload and for
some reason it's now fine. Good old MS and their bugs.
