Can anyone explain to me why the XML tags in a Word document change
from a grey fill to a purple fill?
It seems that when you insert them, they are grey, and both the
opening and closing tag brackets are the same size, and contain the
name of the element.
However when you type a character immediately after a closing tag, the
grey changes to purple, and the closing shrinks to about 1/4 size, and
the name of the element only appears in the opening tag. When in
purple "mode", I cannot place carriage returns (and there are possibly
other changes in behaviour) within the element.
Has anyone come across this?
Cheers,
Rob
