word 2003

Suddenly started crashing about 4 seconds after openning

Have tried repairing, and removal and reinstalling (Word not the whole of
Office 2003)

The problem is still here.

Any ideas?

Thanks, the problem was caused by an absent printer on a USB connection -
solved the problem by making this the default printer.
