Hi all,
I have a quesiton about "compatible files" I'm running word files in
which much of the text is laid out in tables. The files are older,
but they worked perfectly in Word 2000 (Windows ME). Now that I'm
running Word 2004, it redraws the files every time I hit a back space,
and this is bloody slow and very annoying. I suspect it's cause they
are an older type, because they are "Compatible with 6.0/95." So,
when I click the option "compatibility with 2000 - 2004 and Word X"
Option the tables litteraly explode and the file crashes when saving.
Any advice on how to work around this?
Cheers, JP
