Word 2004 and "exotic" fonts : problems anyone ?

F

Fred BOTTARO

Hi,

Anyone in here using Microsoft Office 2004 with fonts others than those
included with the system or the Office Suite ?
Because I do, and I experience some really weird problems when I use those
fonts...
So I would like to know if I am the only one with this problem or if that is a
common issue !

No problem here (but I don't have that many third aprty fonts).
Did you have the opportunity to check the fonts with a Font Utility to check
for damage ??

Moving your earlier, and more detailed post, to this thread:

Not an answer, but some questions....

1) try messing about with Zoom? It's a display problem, and since others
have talked about Word 2004 using different methods to draw the screen (I
think) than Office X, maybe that will help. Definitely Send Feedback with
the names of the fonts.

2) what style manual puts a space between the punctuation and the footnote?
Mine doesn't. (half curious, half suspecting you don't need to bother with
those NBSes) . And are you sure the font change isn't due to your Footnote
Reference Style being defined as TNR?
