Word 2004 crashes when doing data merge......

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Help, I was doing a data merge this morning (labels) everything was cool. Now when I go in and try to do data merge, after I select (labels, catalog etc.) and try to select my source files it crashes. I tried using different sources etc. and repairing permissions.... HELP!

Typically the first answer to determine if some thing worked before &
doesn't now is "What has changed in the mean while?" Have you installed,
upgraded or changed anything on the same system?

It could be a corrupt label document or perhaps a damaged template. Did you
try creating a new *label* document? Any problems with other documents?

Does restarting Word or restarting the Mac make any difference? What is your
definition of "crash" - do you get any error message? If so what is the
exact wording?
