Word 2004 dropped font

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Power PC Suddenly I have lost the Pooh font in Word. I tried trashing the word font cache, running disk repair, nothing works. I don't want to uninstall office - I would lose too much formatting in Entourage. Is there a way to just uninstall WORD or reinstall one font? Thanks.

Point One: Do Not reinstall Office or Word. That font is not a Microsoft
font. It doesn't ship with any version of Office so reinstalling the
software will not restore the font. I have no idea where you may have
obtained it, but my guess would be some Disney Interactive software. Fonts
are supplied with many programs as well as being available separately from
numerous sources.

It may be simply a matter of restarting your Mac, but I suspect you'll most
likely have to reinstall it from its source. You'll need to determine where
it came from. Once you do you can reinstall it using the OS X app called
Font Book. It would be a good idea to run Font Book first to see if the font
is still installed. If it's recognized used the Validate Font routine. You
may also get some hint as to where it came from.

Fonts are not stored in or by any Microsoft program. Anything you do to the
program, including uninstalling/re-installing it, will have no effect at all
on any fonts.

When you FIRST install Office 2004, it installs some fonts if you do not
already have them. After that, it makes no changes to fonts no matter what
you do.

Cheers
