Hi there-
I'm using Mac Office 2004 (all updates applied) on a PowerBook 17" running
OS X 10.4.5.
I'm trying to create and organizational chart using Word. The chart I'm
trying to create is fairly simple and the handy Organization Chart tool
*seems* to be doing the job very well. All fonts, spacing, alignment, and
reporting relationships appear normal when I edit the chart in the
Organization Chart tool.
However, if I close the Organization Chart tool, the resulting org chart in
the document contains several problems:
- Text that appears centered in the Organization Chart tool is rendered
off-center (shifted to the right) with text truncation.
- Spacing between subordinates at the same organization level is
inconsistent.
- Box sizes in general appear to have been compressed around the text.
Has anyone else had some success using this tool? Are there any tips that I
should be aware of?
Thanks in advance.
Chris
