Word 2004 printing problems

Jeannine

When printing from a Word document, the font on each page is shrunk to
about 70% of the correct size, as if trying to fit onto a page much
smaller than A4. In preview the pages look full size. I have made sure
that the page size in both Word and printer set up are both A4 and 100%
scale. I tried setting the scale to 120% but then the print runs off
the page. I have an Epson stylus photo RX430, and OS X 10.4.2. What can
I do?

This sounds like the problem where Word leaves room to print tracked changes
even though you don't want it to, or there aren't any changes in the doc.

Try making sure you are not Viewing or Printing Hidden Text (Word |
Preferences, View and Print tabs, uncheck hidden text boxes.)

Have you updated to SP2? I thought this was one of the fixes in it, haven't
tested it.

Yes, this should be fixed in SP2. If you are still experiencing the problem
in that version, please reply.

Thanks,
