Word 2004 Quits! MAJOR Problem

Hello all,

I upgraded to a new version of Word 2004, and can get all of the apps
to work fine, except Word, which quits every time it opens or tries to
save a document. Can't save, and can't get at any documents. Tried to
do a clean install, but had no luck with it.

Any thoughts? It was working fine for a while, but then all of a sudden
it started giving problems...Please help!

Such consistent and reproducible problems in Word usually respond to one of
the standard troubleshooting measures, which you will find listed here:

http://word.mvps.org/MacWordNew/TroubleshootingIndex.htm
(hit refresh a few times in Safari, or use a different browser)

Work through them one by one until something helps.

Hi!

When I was having those troubles I'd rebuild my Entourage database and
Word would then work again. Don't know if it was coincidental or not
but it worked every time...
