Word 2004 refuses custom address position

B

Bernard W Joseph

Using Macbook OS 10.3.. and Office 2004 v11.3.6.
When I enter a custom positioning for the address on an envelope, Word
2004 prints in the default position. The positioning I want is only 1/2
in to the right and fits easily within what I think is the available space.

Any direction over what Help says to help me?

Ah....some guesses:

a) go into Word | Preferences | View and turn on text boundaries, as
there is a text box around that address that may be interfering and may
need adjustment.

b) Once you have created the envelope in a Word document, use Format |
Paragraph and make sure there isn't a negative indent or anything.

c) could be the printer is not placing it correctly--does it look right
in Print Preview?

Thanks for the directions. I will try them. for b) there is nothing
extraordinary. For c) the preview isn't right.

I'll keep plugging.
