Hi there,
I work in a multi-user environment school.
One teach got error message said
"Word cannot save this document due to a naming or permissions error on the destination volume(Test.Doc)"
Test I did is:
1. Create a new word document, save it, as test.doc. Word has no problem with the first time saving.
2. change content and save it. Word pops up the above error message, and Word gives user a kind of "Word Work_file***" file name.
3. When save it again, Word save it to orignal file name, test, but lost the .DOC.
I know user has ownership of the folder.
I copied Microsoft folder and .plist from other user's Library/Preference folder and overwrited this use's. No help!
It seems user related only not hardware issue.
Why does this happened? How to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
