Word 2004 Template Issues

I really hope someone has seen this before. New template created with
styles. When document is moved to the Project Gallery and launched, it
crashes Word when you try and modify styles.

Pull out of the Project Gallery - no issues

Another question...Any guesses on why a user occassionally has the font
change in parts of the document unexpectedly. Some form fields switch from
Arial to Lucidia and the back again.

This is my test.

I can reproduce this crash with many forms stored in the PG that have a
style. I tested it with a newly created form and older existing forms.

Steps:

Create New Document
Add Form fields
Create a new paragraph style
Apply style to some text
Lock the form
Save as a .DOT
Move document to the project gallery
Load document from project gallery OR load another document
Unlock the form
Format / Styles
Crash

If document is moved out of the project gallery (drag and drop) I can format
the styles with no problems.

Strange?

Very odd, and no, I have never seen or heard of that before. I can't even
begin to guess what would cause that.

Then again, I never use the Project Gallery

The things that usually cause trouble in Styles are bullets/numbering and
Frames. Are you using any of those?

Hello,

Yes very odd. I did not use bullets or frames.

Ironically I can apply direct formatting i.e format font, etc with no
problems.

Does anyone have any ideas?
