Word (2004 version 11.3.5) I hate it. Help me!

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

1. I have a MacBook and other Macs. Word crashes all the time when I go to print.

2. I want to GET RID OF AUTOMATIC FORMATTING FOREVER.Can someone help me? If I create or import
a document the %$#@##$% automatic formatting jumps in and numbers, outlines etc.

3. I have to use numbers and letters but want NO NADA NO automatic formatting.

4. turning it "off" in the toolbar does not work;

5. checkmarking all the %^&&^%$$ options does not work.

6. Please please please help me turn of the fricken auto formatting so I can be nice again.

Well first you need to update to 11.5.1
