Word 2004 will not print

I have not been able to print from Word for a while now. Although I have text in the document, I get a blank screen when I go to Print Preview, in both Word and the Mac OS X print dialog. The documents print fine from Windows PCs. Could this be a Leopard compatibility issue? I think I was able to print when I first installed Leopard, but I'm not sure. Thanks for your help.

We're not exactly sure who to blame for this one.

It is a known issue. It's a combination of OS 10.5.1 and Word and certain
printer drivers.

The work-around we have at the moment is to set the printer to use a
resolution of 600 dpi or less.

There is a patch on the way: possibly from all three of the manufacturers
involved.

Hope this helps

I have tried setting the resolution to 600 dpi or below...no luck. I hope this patch comes out soon!

Many thanks Adam:

There are a few people who are going to be very grateful for that piece of
information :)

Cheers

10.5.2 has fixed my problem! Thanks Apple (and Microsoft)!
