I'm doing some simple bookmark replacements in a small VB.NET application.
The issue I am running in to is that I have Office 2007 installed on my dev
machine. My users have Office 2003. When I publish the installer and attempt
to run it, the end users are told that they need Office/Word 2007 installed
to run the application.
I know the Office 2007 PIAs are backwards compatible with the 2003 versions
so your 2003 applications and plugins still work under Office 2007, but what
about the other way around? Can I get around having to install Office 2003 on
my dev machine?
I attempted to install the Office 2003 PIAs on this machine, but I can't
seem to find them anywhere on here after the install.
