Word 2007 - adding two rows at once

Hi,

I’ve inherited a table consisting of two parts forming one logical
entity (shown above - apologies for the poor formatting).

In reality they appear to be two Word rows.

I’d like add “rows” to the table (in reality the two elements).

All my efforts to date have failed and I’d be grateful for any
suggestions

you'd have to indicate where the "tabs" are to give a better picture.

erm, have you tried copying the two rows and pasting?

and it worked.
