WORD 2007 B2TR problems

jerry gruzewski

1. in both versions 2007 beta and 2007 b2tr Word aplication shinks printed
pages by about half (all is fine when useing Normal printers' settings only).
So if a user wants to use Fine, Custom or any other setting, forge it; page
will print much smaller anyway. I tried with 3 different printers. Same s...t.

2. Serious problem with Word 2007 b2tr file opening. " file does not exist"
window tells, when trying to open any WORD file. Even 2007 b2tr created
cannot be found or opened by 2007 bsrt World.
Any solution ?

Hi Jerry,

What printer model and Windows version are you using? Most of the issues with #1 were worked on in B2TR (they are a bug that exists
in Beta 2 and the work around is to setup the printer resolution before starting Word 2007 in the Beta 2 version).

For #2, if you're running a Symantec-Norton protection product settings turn off the "Office Plug in" in the Antivirus
'Miscellaneous' choices.

Thanx Bob. I am using Windows XP Professional with Sony Vaio - 2005 model;
I have disabled an option you have suggested in the Norton Antivirus;
Printers are not new 2004, 2005 models (Epson and Fax-Scanner-Printer by
Brother);
Well the most important is to be able to open and edit my MWord files.
