Word 2007 Beta 2: Toolbars not remembering

S

sylvaticus

I have a toolbar for my antivirus. I've decided I don't want it displayed
anymore, so I have tried righ-clicking, or View>>Toolbars>>... and unchecking
it, but every time I relaunch Word, the toolbar is back.

Since 2003, I've always had problems with Word not remembering position
where I moved toolbars (even had trouble with it refusing to save autotext
creations).

Does anyone have any idea why the toolbar doesn't stay off? I'm on XP SP2
with all current updates and fixes, and mine is the only account, and it's
Administrator.

Thanks for any help!

Hi =?Utf-8?B?c3lsdmF0aWN1cw==?=,

Since Word 2007 doesn't have a View/Toolbars menu I find your problem
description rather confusing. What you probably should do is remove the Add-in,
if you don't want to use it.
